GPA
Admission to the College of Engineering is based on a student's combined grade point average. Students combination grade point average is calculated as follows:
- the cumulative grade point average of all courses taken aded to
- the technical grade point average based on all technical classes taken at MSU (generally those in the College of Engineering and the College of Natural Science), then divided by 2.
